Why I Create

I am an Indian artist with a background in Fashion Design. I am currently based in Hongkong.

My interest in art began in early childhood, and I've since developed a signature style that embraces visual chaos on canvas. My work explores the interplay of light and shadow, inviting viewers to discover the beauty in everyday moments. I express my feelings that I can’t easily put into words by creating. Art is my way of making space for peace and balance. Through my work I try to capture everyday moments — the ones that feel messy, unpredictable, slightly dramatic, sometimes chaotic… and then somehow turn out to be okay in the end. Basically Life — but with textures and more colours.

I believe that Tradition isn’t something to preserve in silence — it’s something to reimagine. I’m drawn to the soul of old age doors — the mark of time, character and heritage locked in every hinge and panel. I create one of a kind pieces by transforming historic doorways and repurposing them into vivid works that celebrate memory and imagination.

It is my way of reimagining tradition and turning craftsmanship into something fresh and beautifully timeless. I enjoy creating artwork where past and present coexist.
