The Threshold of Time
Mixed media
Size 91cm x122cm
In this painting I have reimagined the splendor of India’s architectural legacy through intricate detailing and layered texture. The painting evokes the grandeur of carved wooden doors — portals to forgotten eras and silent witnesses to time. The interplay of aged turquoise and muted rose tones reflects both decay and endurance. The threshold of time captures the ornate elegance of India’s heritage architecture, where every carving tells a story of devotion and artistry. The weathered hues and meticulous textures echo the passage of generations, transforming a doorway into a symbol of cultural memory. Through my brushwork, I have honoured craftsmanship that transcends time. -
Stories across Time
Size: 80cm x 100cm
Mixed mediaThis artwork suggests a threshold where noise, hurry and everyday motion fall away.
It depicts an ornate, timeworn doorway that feels both decorative and substantial. One side is richly carved and embellished with intricate patterns in warm browns. The other side shows a heavier wooden door with inset panels and brass hardware that catch the light.
Together, the two contrasting surfaces—intricate ornament and solid structure—create a sense of history and a quiet invitation to step beyond the frame. Stories do not simply disappear, they remain embedded in craftsmanship and intricate carvings.
The wooden door has been listening for years. Its grain and carved details hold the quiet stillness of the past. Now the door turns towards the present — ready to tell stories back through its carved frame as if the boundary between then and now is finally ready to speak. Almost like a timeless dialogue between the past and present.

Suspended in Chaos 2025
50*70 cms
Mixed media
Framed
In this painting, vibrant fragments of neon colour collide in a rhythmic interplay of texture and motion. I was inspired by under the sea. Against this energetic textured backdrop, hyper-realistic bubbles hover weightlessly, offering a quiet pause within the visual turbulence. Their presence gently urges the viewer to stop, breathe, and find stillness within the rush of everyday life. Through this contrast of intensity and calm, the work invites reflection on the moments of clarity that emerge—briefly yet beautifully—amid the chaos that surrounds us. Pause in the Chaos is a reminder that serenity is always present, even in disorder, if we allow ourselves to notice it. -

My painting serves as a reminder of the calm that can be found in this chaotic world, inviting all who view it to pause and reflect on their own dreams and desires. The multiple layers of pinks, purple and blue represents motion. A bright colliding web of colours and patterns. It is essentially a vibrant, busy composition built from layers of colours, texture and repeating pattern. -

In this painting the vibrant colours and textures are inspired by a Sunset . Against this energetic backdrop, charcoal bubbles hover weightlessly, offering a quiet pause within the visual turbulence. Their presence urges viewers to find stillness within the rush of everyday life.I have created a textured background with thick impasto, raised like thickened light at the edge of the sun, while other sections are thin almost translucent. The edges of the canvas hold cooler tones: violets, muted indigos, gray smudges that add depth like distant clouds.

Gratitude
SOLD
Size: 42.5×52.5cms
Mixed media: charcoal, graphite and coloured pencils.“Gratitude is the memory of the heart”. It explores the emotional presence of thankfulness. When you feel thankful for good things in life, this artwork captures those feelings — expressed through hands. The artwork draws attention to the hands as a primary language of expression: gestures that convey support, appreciation, and sincerity. Rooted in the awareness of good moments, the work reflects how gratitude is carried within us, remembered by the heart, and communicated through action. The background is inspired by the S. H. Raza rendered in mid-tone color palette that balances warmth and depth, making the hands feel calm, sincere and emotionally resonant. Through this work, I document the quiet strength of appreciation and the human need to acknowledge what sustains us.
